# Understanding Dashboard Metrics and KPIs in Connekt

> Learn how to read your Personal, Team, and Company dashboard views, filter by period, and use metrics effectively for reviews and one-to-ones.

Your Connekt dashboard surfaces the KPIs that matter most to your role — whether you're tracking your own pipeline, reviewing a team, or getting a bird's-eye view of org-wide performance. What you see adapts automatically based on your plan and permission level, so the dashboard is always relevant to you.

## View Types

Connekt offers three dashboard views, each scoped to a different level of the organisation.

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="Personal" icon="user">
    Your own placements, submissions, conversion rates, and revenue. Available to all users.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Team" icon="users">
    Side-by-side metrics for every team member you manage. Available to managers and above.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Company" icon="building">
    Org-wide performance across all users and teams. Available to admins only.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Available Metrics

The following metrics appear on the dashboard. Which ones you can see depends on your plan.

| Metric                                     | Plans                   |
| ------------------------------------------ | ----------------------- |
| Placements made                            | All plans               |
| Submissions sent                           | All plans               |
| Conversion rate (submissions → placements) | All plans |
| Jobs worked                                | All plans               |
| Candidates added                           | All plans               |
| Revenue generated, fees, profit margin | Business plan and above |

<Note>
  Financial metrics — revenue, fees, and profit margin — are only visible to users who have the relevant permissions **and** are on the Business plan or higher. If you expect to see these figures but can't, check with your workspace admin.
</Note>

## Filtering by Period

Use the **period selector** dropdown in the top-right corner of the dashboard to focus on the timeframe that's most useful to you. The available options are:

* **Week** — the current calendar week
* **Month** — the current calendar month
* **Quarter** — the current quarter
* **Year** — the current calendar year

Switching between periods lets you compare current performance against prior timeframes to spot trends.

## Currency

Financial figures display in the currency set on your user profile. If you haven't configured a currency, figures default to **USD**. To update your currency, go to your profile settings.

## Tips for Getting the Most from Your Dashboard

<Tip>
  Use the **period selector** to compare performance week-over-week or month-over-month. Switching between periods is the fastest way to see whether activity is trending up or down.
</Tip>

<Tip>
  The **Team view** is ideal for one-to-ones. Filter down to a single team member to review their metrics in isolation — it keeps the conversation focused and gives you a shared point of reference during the meeting.
</Tip>

<Info>
  Financial metrics respect both plan limits and individual permission settings. Even on the Business plan, a user without financial-data permissions won't see revenue figures.
