# Setting Up Your Connekt Workspace: Getting Started

> Connekt is invite-only. Follow these steps to complete your workspace setup, understand your admin role, and get ready to start recruiting.

Connekt is currently invite-only, which means you'll receive a personalised signup link — for example, after booking a demo — rather than signing up from a public page. Once you follow that link, getting your workspace ready takes just a few minutes.

## Setting Up Your Workspace

    Click the invite link you received. Connekt pre-fills your workspace name based on your company name — you can edit it before moving on.

  <Step title="Complete the signup form">
    Fill in the remaining details to create your account. No credit card is required at this stage.

  <Step title="Your free trial starts automatically">
    As soon as you complete signup, a 14-day free trial begins. You don't need to do anything to activate it.

  <Step title="Land on your dashboard">
    You'll arrive on the Connekt dashboard, ready to start adding data. A short onboarding flow — including setting your industry — walks you through the basics. You can skip it at any point and go straight to the dashboard.

## Things to Know Before You Start

<Accordion title="Your workspace URL is permanent">
  Your workspace URL is set at signup and **cannot be changed later**. If you ever need it updated, contact Connekt support directly.

<Accordion title="You're the workspace administrator">
  The person who completes signup is automatically granted full administrator access. This gives you control over users, settings, and billing from day one.

<Accordion title="Updating workspace details after signup">
  To change your workspace name, industry, or other workspace-level settings after you've signed up, contact Connekt support. These settings aren't editable directly from the dashboard at this time.

  If you're setting up Connekt on behalf of your team, take a moment to confirm your workspace name and URL look right before you complete signup — the URL in particular can't be edited once it's set.
