3

Removing Seats

1

Go to Billing & Usage

Navigate to Settings → Billing & Usage.
2

Click Update Seats

Select Update Seats to open the seat management panel.
3

Decrease the seat count

Set the seat count to your new, lower number.
4

Confirm the change

Review and confirm. The reduction takes effect immediately.
Seat reductions take effect immediately and you won’t receive a credit for the current billing period. More importantly, if your active user count exceeds your new seat limit after the reduction, Connekt may automatically deactivate users to bring you within the limit. To control exactly who loses access, deactivate or reassign specific users before reducing your seat count.

Deactivating a User

Deactivating a user frees up their seat immediately, so you can reassign it to someone else without increasing your plan cost.
  1. Go to Settings → Manage Users.
  2. Find the user you want to deactivate.
  3. Select Deactivate.
The user loses access right away, and their seat becomes available for a new invite.

Rules to Know

Your plan requires a minimum number of seats at all times. You won’t be able to reduce below this minimum.
Deactivated users do not consume a seat. If you have inactive team members still showing as active, deactivating them is the quickest way to free up capacity before adding someone new.
If you’ve hit your seat limit and want to invite a new team member, increase your seat count first — then send the invite. You can’t send an invite if no seats are available.
