Uploading Attachments
Store resumes, cover letters, portfolios, assessments, and any other files directly on a candidate’s profile.1
Open the Attachments tab
Open the candidate record and click the Attachments tab.
2
Upload your file
Click Upload or drag a file directly into the upload area. Any file type is supported — PDF, DOCX, images, spreadsheets, and more.
3
Confirm the upload
The file appears in the list with its name, upload date, and the name of the person who uploaded it.
4
Preview or download
Click any file in the list to open a preview or download it to your device.
The maximum file size is 25 MB per file. There is no limit on the number of files you can attach to a single candidate record. For files larger than 25 MB, consider linking to a cloud storage location in a Note instead.
Adding Notes
Notes are the place for qualitative context — sourcing background, interview impressions, candidate preferences, or anything else that helps your team make better decisions.1
Open the Notes tab
Open the candidate record and click the Notes tab.
2
Create a new note
Click Add Note. The rich text editor opens, giving you formatting options like bold, lists, and links.
3
Write your note
Type your content. Use formatting to make longer notes easy to scan — bullet lists work well for summarising interview feedback.
4
@mention a team member (optional)
Type @ followed by a team member’s name to tag them in the note. They’ll receive an in-app notification so they see it promptly.
5
Save the note
Click Save. The note is timestamped and displays the author’s name so everyone knows who wrote it and when.
Activity Tab vs. History Tab
Candidate records have two tabs that can look similar at first glance but serve very different purposes:- Activity Tab
- History Tab
The Activity tab is where you log your own outreach and interactions with a candidate.
- Record calls, emails, meetings, and other touchpoints manually.
- You can create, edit, and delete activity entries here.
- Use it to keep a running log of all your recruiter-initiated contact so colleagues can see the full engagement picture.
Use Notes and Activity for qualitative context and relationship tracking. Rely on the History tab when you need to verify exactly what happened and when — for compliance checks, dispute resolution, or onboarding a new team member onto a candidate’s story.
