Accessing the permission matrix

Go to Settings → Permissions
Navigate to Settings → Permissions in your workspace. You need Super Administrator or Administrator role to access this page.

Review the matrix
The permission matrix displays all roles as columns and all permission categories as rows. Each cell contains a toggle showing whether that role currently has the permission enabled.
Permission categories
Permissions are grouped into the following categories, each covering a distinct area of the platform:Enabling and disabling permissions

Find the permission you want to change
Locate the relevant category row and the role column you want to adjust.

Click the toggle
Click the toggle in the cell to enable or disable that permission for the selected role. The change saves immediately — there is no confirmation step.
Changes apply immediately to every user currently holding that role. You do not need to re-invite users or ask anyone to log out.
Common customisations

By default, Recruiters may only see their own placements. Enable the relevant Placements permission for the Recruiter role to give them visibility across the full team pipeline.
Prevent Researchers from creating or editing placements

If your Researchers should be able to source candidates but not manage placement records, disable the create and edit placement permissions for the Researcher role.
Give Consultants access to company billing information
Give Consultants access to company billing information
Billing details on company records are often restricted to senior roles. You can enable the billing permission for the Consultant role while keeping it disabled for Researchers and Users.
