Connekt keeps you informed about the things that matter most to your work by sending notifications whenever key events happen. Notifications arrive by email and in-app so you can stay on top of activity whether you’re working in Connekt or away from it. If you use the Connekt mobile app, you can also receive push notifications on your device.

Events that trigger notifications

Connekt sends notifications for the following types of events:
  • Submission status changes — when a candidate’s submission is updated (for example, moved to interview or rejected).
  • Job assignments — when you are assigned to work on a job.
  • Leave approvals — when a leave request you submitted is approved or rejected.
  • Document signing events — when a document is signed, or when it’s your turn to sign a document.
  • Payment updates — when payment-related activity occurs on a placement or deal you’re involved in.

Notification channels

Email

Notification emails are sent to the address associated with your Connekt account. They include a summary of the event and a direct link back to the relevant record.

In-App

In-app notifications appear in the notification centre within Connekt. You can review them at any time by clicking the bell icon in the top navigation.

Adjusting your notification settings

A self-service page for customising which notifications you receive on which channel is not yet available. To adjust your notification preferences — for example, to turn off certain email alerts or change which events you’re notified about — contact your workspace admin or reach out to Connekt support.

Push notifications on mobile

The Connekt mobile app supports push notifications, so you can receive alerts even when the app isn’t open.
1

Open your device settings

On your phone or tablet, go to Settings → Apps (Android) or Settings → Notifications (iOS).
2

Find the Connekt app

Locate Connekt in the list of installed apps.
3

Make sure notifications are set to Allowed for the Connekt app. Depending on your device, you may also be able to control which notification types (banners, sounds, badges) are enabled.
