Companies are the central hub for everything related to your clients and target employers — linking contacts, job openings, notes, and billing details in one place. Before you start sourcing for a new client, create a company record so that all activity is tracked against it from day one.
1

Open the Companies section

Go to Companies in the main navigation and click Create.
2

Enter the company's details

Fill in the core fields for the company:
  • Company name (required) — the only field you must provide to save the record.
  • Industry (optional) — helps you filter and segment your client list.
  • Website (optional) — useful for quick reference and enrichment.
  • Location (optional) — enter the city and country where the company is based.
3

Add billing details (optional)

If you manage invoicing through Connekt, expand the billing section and complete the relevant fields:
  • Payment terms — enter the number of days (e.g. 30, 60).
  • Billing address and billing entity — the legal entity you invoice.
  • Tax ID — for VAT or other tax reference numbers.
  • Billing terms / notes — any freeform notes about invoicing arrangements for this client.
4

Complete custom fields

If your workspace admin has configured custom fields for companies, you’ll see them on this form. Fill in any that are relevant to the record.
Custom fields are configured in Settings → Field Configuration. Ask your admin if you need a field that isn’t currently available.
5

Save the record

Click Save. The company record is created and you’re taken to its detail page.

After creating the company

Once the record exists, a few follow-up steps help you get the most out of it straight away.

Add contacts

Go to the Contacts tab on the company record to add the people you work with there — hiring managers, HR leads, and other stakeholders. You can also create contacts from the Contacts section and link them to this company during creation.

Set a primary contact

On the Contacts tab, mark one contact as Primary. The primary contact appears prominently on the company profile card for quick reference. Only one primary contact can be set per company.

Create job openings

Create job openings and link them to this company so candidates, submissions, and placements all roll up to the right client record automatically.
Company records are never deleted when jobs are filled or closed — they remain fully searchable and auditable. All associated contacts, jobs, notes, and billing information stay connected to the record over time.
