Payment failures happen from time to time, and Connekt is built to handle them without immediately disrupting your team’s work. You have a 7-day grace period after the first failed payment, and the system automatically retries the charge on your behalf during that time.

The Automatic Retry Process

When a payment fails, Connekt’s billing system automatically retries the charge several times over the following days. You don’t need to take any action while retries are in progress — the system handles this for you.

Notifications

As soon as a payment fails, an email alert is sent to the workspace billing admin.
If you’re the billing admin, check your inbox — and your spam folder — for an alert from Connekt. The email will confirm what failed and prompt you to update your payment method if needed.

Grace Period

You have a 7-day grace period from the date of the first failed payment. During this window:
  • Your workspace remains fully accessible
  • Your entire team can continue working without any interruption
  • Automatic retries continue in the background

If the Grace Period Passes Without Payment

If the payment isn’t resolved within 7 days, your workspace access is paused.
When workspace access is paused, your team loses access immediately. However, all your data is fully preserved — nothing is deleted. You can reactivate at any time by updating your payment method.

How to Reactivate Your Workspace

1

Go to Settings → Billing

Navigate to Settings → Billing.
2

Update your payment method

Add a new card or update your existing payment details.
3

Click Reactivate Subscription

Select Reactivate Subscription to trigger a new payment attempt.
4

Access is restored

Once the payment goes through, your workspace reactivates immediately. Your team regains access, and your data, settings, and history are exactly as you left them.
