Submissions move through a defined set of stages as a candidate progresses through the hiring process. Connekt provides 19 statuses in total, split between active pipeline stages and paused or closed outcomes. Keeping statuses up to date ensures your pipeline accurately reflects reality and makes reporting meaningful.

Active Pipeline Stages

These statuses represent forward progress through a typical hiring process, generally in the order shown below.
Once a submission reaches Offer Accepted or Hired, you can convert it into a formal Placement record to track fees, commission splits, and invoicing. See Converting a Submission to a Placement.

Paused and Closed Stages

These statuses indicate that a submission is no longer actively progressing, either temporarily or permanently.
The process is paused with no active progression. This is not a final status — the submission can resume when circumstances change.
The candidate received an offer but chose not to accept it.
The candidate was not selected by the client or hiring team.
The candidate withdrew themselves from the process.
A catch-all status for any other reason the submission closed without resulting in a hire.
